Victorian Necklaces

We design necklaces using images from the past, such as these two shown below.

Victorian Angel Necklace "Aurora"

Postcards were a popular way to bring a smile across the miles.  Girls were often dressed as little angels and photographed for postcard images.  This kit uses one of these images in it's focal piece and was designed similar to the chatelaines of that time. Chatelaines were worn by women of the Victorian Era holding accessories such as scissors, thimbles, and other tools they wanted to keep close at hand.  Most chatelaines were clipped to the waist with a focal center that held the accessories dangling off its sides.  Often mixed with these accessories was filigree ornaments and decorative jewels.  This necklace kits incorporates the chatelaine style with filigree and crystal drops hanging off its sides.

This necklace kit is available as a glue together kit for crafters not skilled in seed bead design and as a Peyote Stitch kit for those who enjoy seed beading jewelry design.
